Spot treating: Eurasian Water Milfoil (EWM)

Notice: On Friday, June 9, 2023, the Beaver Dam Lake Management District will be spot treating small areas in Beaver Dam Lake for eradicating Eurasian Water Milfoil (EWM). ProcellaCOR herbicide will be used as it is very effective when dealing with small areas of EWM. It is applied at a dosage rate in the ppm (Parts per Billion) in comparison to other herbicides used for controlling EWM that are in the PPM (part per million) range. Informational signs will be placed at the boat landings and along the lakeshore properties adjacent to where the treatment will be applied.
