UPDATE: Hines Lakeview Drive boat landing reopened

The boat landing at the northern end of Hines Lakeview Drive has been reopened.

Beaver Dam Lake Management Plan and City of Cumberland Eagle Point and Tourist Park Improvement Plan Information and Comment Gathering

NOTICE

The Beaver Dam Lake Management District and the City of Cumberland are sponsoring an informational gathering on Tuesday, August 19th from 4:30 to 6PM at the Tourist Park/Beach pavilion. Emmons & Olivier Resources, Inc. (EOR) and City representatives will be available to discuss and answer questions about the Draft Beaver Dam Lake Management Plan and the City of Cumberland Draft Parks and Recreation Concept Plans for Visitors Park and Eagle Point Park. This is another opportunity for the public to ask questions and have input relating to both Plans that will guide the accomplishment of the goals in both plans in the future.

We would like to extend our thanks to Michael "Benji" Benjamin for his commitment to serving as a commissioner. Benji was elected at the Annual Meeting, and his term on the board began following the board meeting. His initial term is set to conclude in 2028.
