The image below shows a view looking south toward the SE Storm Water pond following the dredging and the creation of a pathway through the pond area. This pathway will eventually extend westward, linking the west end of the new path to 5th Avenue. Visitors will be able to walk around Library Lake using public sidewalks, along the west edge of the city parking lot on the east side of Library Lake, to the pathway shown in the picture. The entire area will be reseeded, with additional trees planted, and wildflowers and aquatic plants added along the shoreline. A dock is being considered at the end of the pathway leading to the Lake for launching kayaks and canoes.
