Restoration and Management Plan
The Beaver Dam Lake Restoration and Management Plan was prepared by Emmons & Olivier Resources (EOR) and approved by the District Board in October 2025. It has been submitted to the Wisconsin DNR for review. The plan guides the District’s future investments in the lake’s health, with a main focus on improving water quality.
It brings together current information on the lake’s history, water quality trends, and the nutrient and sediment runoff coming from the surrounding watersheds. It also covers the main threats to the lake, including stormwater runoff, sediment buildup, shoreline changes and aquatic invasive species. The plan sets goals for lake health, invasive species, recreation and financing, and lists specific projects to carry them out. These build on the progress already made in the West basin and add new monitoring and cleanup work in the East basin.
